UI & Brand Identity Design for an Animal Welfare Platform
This project involved the creation of a complete user interface and brand identity for “Satın Alma, Sahiplen” — a social responsibility initiative aimed at encouraging animal adoption over purchase. The platform was designed to function like a social network, where animals from municipal shelters could be profiled, supported, and ultimately adopted by responsible individuals.
The interface was built to be warm, approachable, and emotionally engaging — reflecting the values of care, trust, and community. Key features included pet profiles integrated with local municipality data, donation modules for food and medical support, and an adoption workflow that facilitated direct communication and follow-up. The UI emphasized simplicity and emotional storytelling, using real photos, soft color palettes, and accessible navigation for all user levels.
Beyond the interface, I developed the platform’s brand identity and logo design. The logo conveys trust, compassion, and the idea of connection between humans and animals. The overall visual language was crafted to be inclusive and non-commercial — clearly differentiating the project from typical pet-selling platforms, while inspiring a sense of civic engagement and empathy.
Post-adoption monitoring was integrated as a core concept of the platform, ensuring that pets remained healthy and well-cared for. By involving municipalities and volunteers in a collaborative system, the platform aimed to reduce the burden on public shelters while creating meaningful, lasting relationships between animals and their new families. The design served as both a product and a purpose-driven movement.
