EURO2016 Thematic Social Media & Screen Design for Turkey’s Official Broadcaster
For EURO2016, Turkey’s official broadcaster sought a dynamic and consistent visual identity to engage fans across digital platforms and broadcast screens. The challenge was to create a comprehensive design system that would seamlessly represent the excitement and prestige of the tournament while aligning with the broadcaster’s brand.
I developed an extensive design palette and guideline that covered all visual touchpoints — from profile branding and social media themes to live match results, group standings, and player-of-the-match highlights. Each element was crafted to ensure clarity, energy, and cohesion, enhancing the viewer’s experience at every stage of the competition.
The visuals were applied across multiple channels throughout the tournament, resulting in a vibrant and immersive fan journey. The tailored graphics not only boosted brand recognition but also significantly increased social media interaction and engagement.
This project demonstrated the power of strategic design in sports broadcasting, successfully translating the passion of EURO2016 into compelling visual storytelling that resonated deeply with the Turkish audience.
