“Connected Living, Rewarded” – SmartThings Visual Campaign

This project focused on illustrating the intelligent ecosystem behind Samsung SmartThings through a dual-visual ad series. The campaign aimed to highlight the platform’s ability to connect and manage Samsung devices effortlessly via mobile control, AI-powered efficiency, and a rewarding user experience through energy-saving incentives.

The two visuals were designed to work both independently and as a cohesive set — each emphasizing a unique strength of the SmartThings platform. One focused on seamless device communication, showing how appliances and electronics interact intelligently. The other spotlighted how AI-driven optimizations help users save energy, which can then be converted into points or rewards. The messaging balanced technological sophistication with lifestyle benefits.

Design-wise, clarity and accessibility were key. Using intuitive iconography, sleek layouts, and a calm yet modern color palette, the visuals delivered complex features in a simple, engaging way. I ensured the illustrations remained user-friendly and visually inviting, especially for retail environments and digital signage.

The campaign was used across various Samsung retail spaces and product experience zones, supporting consumer education around SmartThings features. By turning energy savings into a tangible reward system, the visuals successfully positioned SmartThings not just as a smart control hub, but as a lifestyle enabler — smart, sustainable, and personally beneficial.
